sercuity deposit

after 1 yr can a landlord take out latefees out of your sercuity deposit never mentioning any late fees to me time of rent was handed in each month

It depends on your lease agreement with the landlord. If the rent is late there is usually a late fee chargeable to you as additional rent. If the landlord can deduct it from your security deposit (demanding you replace the deducted funds) is another question. You should be asking someone who is a LANDLORD TENANT attorney...not a debt collector.
