Non payment of services

I have not been payed for services i performed and billed for over

a month ago. What is the time table before I should start legal

action and what are my options once I do?

If you have billed for services and have not received payment for more than 30 days, you may want to send the debtor a statement with a short note stating payment is overdue. If you get no response within a reasonable period, depending on the size of the claim, you then might consider a lawsuit in small claims court or civil or supreme court (assuming you have the right to sue the debtor in a New York state court).
