Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Do I have any liability if I am involved in an auto accident while using a company owned vehicle? Can a third party passenger sue me if they are injured? Rarely, I may have to use my own vehicle under the scope of my employment. What are the liabilities involved if an auto accident were to occur?

If you are in the course of your employment, your employer's insurance should cover this accident. As the operator, you are also liable.

You will be sued. You had better drive your company car on company business; too much headache if you are otherwise involved in an accident.
