Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Personal Injury case, to Mediation

Both my attorney and the defense have agreed to take my case to ''Mediation''. Is mediation binding?, as far as the monitary award set down by the mediator(s)

No. It's an attempt to reach a settlement, but mediation by definition is not binding.
