Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
Our house will be going into foreclosure. Someone told me that went through this that if the bank cannot produce the original deed papers, they cannot foreclose on the house. We have lived here for 28 years and had 3 different mortgage banks since we purchased the home. Is this true?
