Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

Divorse Agreement

My ex and I were divorsed 15 years ago and in the divorse papers it states that I am not responsible nor to benefit from a time share property. He is soley responsible. He is not defaulting on it and I want to know if I will be held responsible or if my credit will be effected?

Thank you

Re: Divorse Agreement

You did not provide a lot of information regarding deed etc.. But, if the deed of trust is still in both of your names, it is possible that you may feel the effects of this. This can be tricky depending on the divorce agreement and the deed. I may have an alternative for you to obtain the legal advice you may need on this issue on an ongoing basis as well as legal advice for any other future legal issues that will arise throughout your failies life. If you would like more information, you can e-mail me at:

Either way, I wish you good luck.
