Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina
Having electrical problems. Home still under warranty - less than two years old. Called the builder (McCar Homes) for two weeks now, no response. Was told by one of the contractors that because of the housing crises, builder has layed off workers - no one to do the work. Told me to contact McCar Homes in Atlanta, GA. Contacted them today, 8/31/09, was told that they do not have anything to do with the building in North Carolina. How do I get the builder to honor the warranty?

Write a demand letter, and/or contact an attorney and sue them.
