Legal Easement or Right of Way

trying to buy property i live on..

driveway is 1/2 mile long.

only way to the house for over 30 years.

driveway is on county map.been to county board meeting. purchase has been approved.

cannot gain legal easement voluntarily from landowner who owns majority of drive way.

i'm Land Locked... please help

There's a principle of law called "easement by necessity."

The theory is that no property should be landlocked!

However, I don't know the slightest thing about law in

your state, so you should go see a local lawyer, if you

haven't already.
