Landlord destroys life

I was recently living in a rentle house when one day after work one day i showed up at my house and the was a lock on the door and a note on the door that said you are out. they took all of my belonings out of the house themselfs and took the and when i found out i called them up and they said they would give me my possessions back if we paid them 1000 dollars for a water bill i did not owe. well i called them up and told them i would press charges. they then brought every thing back and put it on the curb and it had rained on all my possessions and people stole my big appliances and thy brock into all my brief cases and told the neighbors and anyone else to take what they want I want to know what i should do I have nothing left. they also took my prescription drugs and mylife is now at risk what should i do

You need to take this issue to court in the city you live in. Did you have a lease? Did you pay the rent once a month? Were you behind?
