Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

car accident collection

money was taken from an account that did not belong to me and the collection agency I deal with was very rude about it. They have done nothing to right their wrong and insist that I acted fradulantly representing the account as my own when in fact they have known it wasn't. What legal standing do I or the person whose account was stolen from have?

Re: car accident collection

The party whose account it was has standing to sue the creditor in conversion, provided hey can prove that you had no right or access to the account at all.
