Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My daughter is married to a marine and he has cheated on her. She wants to file for divorce but hasn't the funds to do so. Can she get financial aid to help her or how can she get this divorce?

She can go to the local legal aid office and see if she qualifies for free services. She can also go to the county domestic relations court and ask the staff there. Depending on what county there are some very very helpful people who work at the courthouse. To some degree they will be able to guide your daughter if she does it by herself. Of course, the best situation is to hire an attorney to represent your daughter's best interests. You might be surprised at the range of prices if you call around. There is affordable and competent legal representation available but its important to call around.
