Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I have full custody of my son i am moving out of the counnty that we both reside in to persue higher education and a better job. the father is trying to tell me that i am not alllowed and that i can not have our persoanal items out of the house. What do i need to do?

You probably need to file a notice of intent to relocate. You would file this under the same case number of your divorce case. Then your ex would have a chance to object. However you slice it, though, you and your ex would go back before a judge and the judge would decide whether you can move out of the country with your son. These confrontations can obviously get messy. I strongly encourage you to consult with an attorney.
