Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

marital rights

I have been married for 3 years. My husband owned our home before our marriage. Everytime we have a fight he tells me to get out that it is his house and he can kick me out anytime he wants with no warning and keep any belongs I don't take with me. My name is not on the mortgage, although it is on the checks that have paid the mortgage for 3 years, and my name is not on the lot agreement with the park we live in. Can my husband force me to leave at will? Don't I have any marital rights having lived here and paid bills for 3 years? This is a horrible thing to have hang over my head all the time.

Re: marital rights

This is a terrible thing to have hanging over your head. According to Ohio law, nonmarital assets have to be kept separate. If one spouse can show contributions to a nonmarital asset, then it can "convert" to a marital asset. Keep a record.
