Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
my wife has left me two times now with no reason, just up and moved back to her family. My parents filed for temp custody of her daughter my step daughter being my wife does nothing for our daughter. my parents have paid all my daughters medical and dental bills and registered her in school for the past two years. My wife has threatened to kill herself on a couple of occassions, when she left you took items for herself and nothing for our daughter, can i fight for custody even though i am just a step dad, (there is no dad listed on her birth certificate) and can i file for divorce under abandonment being shes left with no notice and twice left me with all bills and i am disabled. and not working.

Since the children are not yours you are unlikely to get custody. However, you can file for divorce under abandonment if she has been gone more than a year. I would be happy to represent you in the divorce.
