Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Ohio

I was reading some of the copyright laws, and heard you can take back a copyright that you originally owned. After giving notice and 35 years, you can then break that contract. I know it's a bit more complicated than that, but my question is.... What happens to everyone's music, movies, etc... If the copyright owner takes back the copyright does that make our copy's void? Example, I bought a music CD. Artist takes back his copyright from the publisher so that publisher can no longer use their copyright. What happens if anything to said CD that I own?

You "read" and then you "heard"? You heard wrong. I have never heard of a notice and 35 year provision in copyright law (US or other), which I would venture to say means it does not exist.

If you buy something legally, it's yours. It's that plain and simple.
