Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Ohio

I received a CHANEL handbag as a gift a while back, came with tags and whatever. I dont know that much about them and didnt really like it anyways, so i sold it on craigslist. The woman who purchased it had it inspected, AFTER purchasing it, and found out it was a fake. I didnt know. She is threatening to call the police. Can I be charged if I dont refund her money?

Yep, and the Chanel Corp is probably going to give you a call too. Trafficing in counterfeit merchandise is a federal crime, so you probably shouldn't mess around with that. I would give back the money.
