Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Ohio

Male Dr. Examining a minor Female with out a chaperone

Is it legal for a mother to be denied the right to chaperone the examination of her minor daughter when a Male Dr. is doing the exam. or with out any supervision of any kind while examining the said minor. my wife was denied the right to be present and there was no female nurs or any chaparone present while the said male Dr. examined my minor daughter is this legal.
