Legal Question in Education Law in Pennsylvania

School

Ive told a teacher in confidentality a secret of mine and she had told her family and told her brother not to associate me because she believes im a bad kid. Is this legal to do? I've been looking this up online and couldnt find a clear answer hopefully you can help.

You should either tell your parents what the teacher has done or tell your guidance counselor (without revealing the secret, if you don't feel comfortable revealing it). Students are encouraged to turn to teachers for wisdom and guidance, not rejection. Your teacher's actions are wrong. You should consult with an attorney in your area who focuses in education law. Many offer free confidential initial consultations. If you are unable to locate one perhaps you local county bar association can refer you to one.
