Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

Judgement

If a personal financial judgement is filed against an individual, is there a time limit on it? I want to know if it has to be renewed within a certain period of time to keep it active in order for it to be collected, or does it expire if inactive after a cetain period of time. This is for Pennsylvania, Allegheny County.

Judgments may be renewed every five years at the courthouse.
