Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

Where do I turn?

I was involved in a head on collision that WAS not my fault. the other guy paid for my car to be paid off however I am unable to work, I have no money, and I still have some injuries that I must see a doctor about. Where can I turn for some help getting money to live on, I need a car to get back and forth to school. I have no clue who i can go to for help and my lawyer is taking forever because she says until the doctors release me there is nothing i can do. I need money and a car NOW!

Re: Where do I turn?

It is very unlikely that the other driver's insurance company will provide you with an advance payment pending complete settlement of your claim. However it never hurts to ask. You should discuss this with your attorney. If you are trully desperate you could instruct your attorney to attempt to settle now. But keep in mind this usually results in your receipt of far less than if you waited until the full extent of your injuries are known.
