parent in nursing home-- NOT ON MEDICAID pays full price-- other parent still alive ...they own 75 acres no home on this land -- can one of the children buy it

Based on the information you provided, I don't see any reason why the parents can't sell the property to the children. The parents should talk to a lawyer about Medicaid planning. Because, the Government can look back and challenge any property transfers within 5 years of their application for Medicaid. So, plan ahead. Good luck.
