Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania

16 Year Sexually Harassed at Work

My 16 year old daughter was continually sexually harassed at her job.She did not tell her boss because she wasnt an understanding person and my daughter felt that she would get fired. My daughter was fired 3 weeks ago because she was home sick and could not go to work. We took her to the doctors and he gave us a note but my daughter's manager chose not to accept it. Well, my daughter thought she had nothing to loose so she told her father and me. When we heard all the details of what this 40 year old man said to our daughter we were horrified and disgusted. We called her boss right away and asked to speak with them. They met with us and said that they would investigate. Her boss also said that our daughter should never have been fired. She is a hard worker and a nice person. One week later they called my daughter and said they wanted to meet with her without her parents. My husband called them back and said no way. She is a minor and we as her parents will protect her. Do we need a lawyer? What shall we do? What are her rights? TU

Re: 16 Year Sexually Harassed at Work

You should seek legal advise at once. The fact pattern your

present opens too many issues to intellegently duscuss without more information.

You can also make mistakes that will materially hurt you in

any case that you may have. Find an attorney that has litigation experience

in employment law near your home.
