Legal Question in Personal Injury in Tennessee

Decided to go Pro Sae

I was involved in a multi vehicle accident at which point I was rear ended while stopped at a red light. The other party was issued a ticket. I have sustained neck and back injuries as a result of this accident and I do have a trial date set for 7/12/04. I am in the process of being depossed by the defendants attorney's and I would like some information as to questions or disclosures, etc. I should be asking of them. If you can help out with this? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

First of all, YOU NEED to hire an attorney. The fact that you would have to ask for assistance with this shows that you obviously need an attorney. Did you talk to attorney who refused to take your case or is it that you did not want to provide a contingency fee? Email me and I can help you further. Thanks!

Please don't take this the wrong way, but you are in way, way over your head. Not only are you going against experienced counsel, but you have no idea about the medical issues involved, let alone the legal issues. Handling a case of that nature is similar to the complexity that a layperson would experience if attempting to rebuild an engine for the first time. Get a very experienced, competent personal injury lawyer. If you have been turned down by other lawyers, there may be a reason. However, feel free to give me a call. I am not doing this to get business. By representing yourself in such a case, you are simply shouting at the opponent how little you understand about what you are facing. William S. If Defendant's attorney is taking your deposition and you are unsure about what questions are going to be asked, it sounds as though you are handling your own case. You may want to hire a lawyer if your personal injuries can be backed up with medical bills.
