Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Do I need a lawyer

My father recently passed in TN and always maintained that he had a will in which he ''took care of'' his kids and grandkids. His wife refuses to share a copy with me...his son and also maintains that everything was left to her and that she has no intention of putting it into probate. My sisters and I feel that she is being dishonest. Any suggestions whould be helpful
