Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Arrested Nov 5th.
I was a Deputy Sheriff and arrested on Nov 5th for Agg Asslt. w/deadly weapon. A couple alleged that they honked at me while I was in my personal car in route to work. They said I pointed my weapon at them as I
drove by them. They said they followed me to work and noticed I was a peace officer. They then waited a day a day later to report it to DPS. It is now May 5th and after taking a polygraph and passing the DA has yet to take before the grand jury. What is your viewpoint on this?

Six months is a long time to sit in intake, but does not mean you are cleared. You can always hire a lawyer to meet with the Intake attorney of the DA's office.
