Child custody amendment

Which form do I need to file to change to live with my dad instaed of my mom? I am 17 in Texas. Also If I am seeing a psychologist will this impact my decision?

Thanks for the question. Generally, its a difficult thing for minors to file suits in Texas. Although your dad may be able to file what is called a Suit Affecting the Parent Child Relationship to get custody of you, the suit would likely take a while and may be expensive. Assuming that you are not in physical or emotional danger by living with mom, you may just want to hang on until you turn 18. Once you are 18 you may live with whomever you choose.
