Orthodontia

My ex wants to get braces for one of our girls, I have told her I don't have the money to make payments right now. What can I do legally.

Unless you have the exclusive right to make these medical decisions, there is not much you can do, except insist that the provider be under any available insurance; or petition the court for a modification. It won't hurt to notice your ex by CMRRR that you can not afford braces, and that your only alternative is to make small monthly payments, and start doing that now. Keep good records.
