Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My son married a girl 3 years ago. After he lost his job she took my grandchild and moved halfway across the country until he could "get it together'. Now she has decided she wants a divorce and is demanding child support which he has already been paying but refuses to allow access to the baby. He cannot afford air fare. Can she be forced to move back to our state or pay for the air fare?

Your son needs to talk to an attorney. You have not provided enough information for an attorney to answer your questions.

If she has filed for divorce in another state, he needs to "answer" the divorce or else the divorce could be granted without his participationor input. Generally, that is NOT a good idea.
