Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Visitation with a teen

My son is 15 going on 16 and wants to spend less time with his father. Is this possible? Does it help if he has video of his father being verbally abusive to my son?

These kinds of issues can be pretty tricky. It may well hinge upon the Court your case is in (i.e. Harris County has 9 Family Court Judges). I have handled these type of cases before and I can assist you. If you are interested in visiting about these matters, please get into contact with me.

A lot depends on whether you want to take the father back to Court and try to change the visitation. Your son can't do it on his own. While it often doesn't take much for a 15 or 16 year old to make a parent lose their cool, if you think your son is really being abused you need to do something.
