Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Freeze on Checking and Savings

I co-signed and the primary defaulted now I have a freeze. What can I do to get my accounts back? How can I find the court order against me?

Re: Freeze on Checking and Savings

That's very interesting. If there is an existing court order, it would have originated from a lawsuit for which you should have received a summons or a citation. You would have had an opportunity to answer. IF you are sure that you did not receive a summons or citation with a copy of the lawsuit, then this seizure is in violation of the law. If you want my help on this, contact me by email.
