Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Termination for Bad Driving??

I work at an engineering firm and our Driving policy has been updated, stating that if I become unisurable on the company's automobile insurance policy I can be subject to disciplinary action up to termination. I typically drive to client meetings and site visits, approx. 50 miles/month. My question is, does the company have the right to terminate me if I was to recieve traffic citations outside of work, during non-working hours?
