Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Termination

My company recently hired a man to act as the new sales manager.

The new man began to demand things of me that not been a part of my job as described by my apparently now former manager. I did my best to comply and keep a good attitude.

He then hired his brother and gave all the refineries in my sales area to him. These accounts represented significant revenue for the company. A lot of it was new business I had brought in.

They said they were going to have me cover other types of industry for the entire country, instead of half.

One week after turning over these refinery accounts I was fired.

Last week, I inadvertently came across the brother's employment letter on the server. It stated he would be paid $86k. For doing the same job plus more, I was being paid $56.

He was now set to get my bonuses, which were about $40k last year. My new responsibilities would most likely not bring me any bonus, as the facility was already full, and we were turning away business. I believe the new position was bogus.

Thanks,
