Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

My landlord comes over all the time without written notice and he has even gone into my room before without permission. I was in there, he just knocked and entered without permission. He has asked that my roommates boxes are to be moved out of the garage by next week or he is throwing them away. It is personal family ear-looms and he has not given a reason why. He had me tow my car off the premises and out of the garage because it was broken down, even though I had a date for it to be fixed. I owned the vehicle. I am bringing it back after fixed. I have not mentioned that to him. He comes into the house to check on things sometime for no reason and he fixes things that do NOT need to be fixed and I have not even made him aware of. He sometimes says that the kitchen needs to be cleaned when it just has a couple dirty dishes in the sink because we had a birthday party the previous day. My main concern right now is that we have nowhere for the boxes to be moved and he is pushing the issue. I am uncomfortable with the situation because I am unaware of my rights as a renter. Please help me. I have called everybody and have not gotten any answers.

Go to the hardware store and get chains for your outer doors. When you're inside the house, chain the doors.

Get a lock for the garage door.

Write him a letter (keep a copy) and tell him that you would like for him to let you know in advance when he's going to come over or when he's going to be inside the house.

As a last resort: Have a large, ugly, intimidating relative come stay with you for a week. When the landlord drops in, have him act dangerous.
