Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Utah

getting my half out of a house owned by my brother and myself.

A couple of years ago my father passed away and left my brother and myself the house. From that point on I have been trying to get my brother to sale the house or buy me out. He will not even think about it. Its been over a year of fighting over this and I'm over it. He has told me over and over I have no rights and he can keep the house as long as he wants and doesn't have to give me anything until he's ready. I really would like to know if this is true and if not what can I do to get my money out of the house?

It depends on whether your father had a trust. You can probably force the sale of the house. You may call for a free consultation.
