Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Guardianship

On August 26, 2005, the court signed the guardianship order appointing myself and my wife as guardians. The 36 month guardianship statute report is due requiring me to submit a financial itemized accounting report of all funds received and a personal care plan. I have both the financial and personal care plan ready to submit. My question is, can I do it myself and if so how do I do it. Where do I obtain the cover letters and to whom do I submit these documents to. Could a legal aid or a assistant do this, of so could I have a phone number. I could use some help.

Thank You.

Re: Guardianship

Yes, you can do it yourself. How you do it is to some degree affected by local court rules. I don't know what the coverletters are (I don't use anything like that when I file periodic reports) I use a note to motion calendar/docket. Generally, the reports are filed with the court clerk with a working copy to the the court hearing the matter with notice provided to interested persons, details of how far ahead you schedule and notify are controlled by local rules.
