Re: anti harassment

Depending on whether this is through District or Superior Court, you have a certain amount of time to respond and you need to provide a response. Not knowing the basis upon which the order was sought, my best advice to you right now is to pay an attorney for an hour's time and get a solid consultation on what your rights and responsibilities are in this situation.

It might be professionally detrimental to you if such an order is entered. Such as if you need security clearances, or if the order sought is from a co-worker whom you have to be around, given that you work close to each other, etc.

Bottom line: pay a little up front now to know exactly what to expect and what your rights and duties are in this situation. You may be able to handle the remainder on your own, or you may at least be able to fully appreciate what you are up against after consulting an attorney.

I wish you well!
