Hello, yes you can reaffirm (keep and not get rid of in the bankruptcy) any loan you want to. Usually people affirm their mortgage and maybe a car loan. The creditors usually give you the forms to do this. You have to be careful, though. This is your one chance to start again without debt, and to to the extent to keep debt, you have to make sure you can pay it off. If not, you wont be able to do it later, and creditor may come after your assets. Without more facts, I cant advise further on whether to keep or discharge any particular debts. Best wishes, Mark J.
