Legal Question in Employment Law in Wisconsin

If an employer requires you to see a doctor on the day you call in sick at work, what happens if you get in an accident on the way to the doctor. I suffer from migraine headaches and when one occurs, my vision, stability (dizziness), and ability to see in the daylight are effected. Just getting out of bed is a big chore.

Did you get into an accident or is that a hypothetical? What you should do is have your doctor provide a note to your employer that you suffer from migraines which is a recurring condition and are unable to work when you have one. The doctor's note should also inform the employer that when migraines occur, you are incapacitated, unable to drive (or it's dangerous for you to drive) or leave the house and you need to be able to spend the day in a dark room, in bed, etc. and let them run their course.
