How much would an LLC cost to have it legally done?

I am starting a business with friends and was wondering how much it would cost to have an LLc done legally or if it would better to go Incorperated?

The price of an LLC varies, depending upon what you have done to establish the business. Usually, the cost for an attorney to handle such a project is betweeen $1000 and $1500.

There are lots of reasons to choose and LLC or a corporation -- primarily tax reasons -- and the advice depends upon your individual situation. You should have your attorney explain the options to you.
