My wife recived a notice about her chq bounce but she had never a chq issued from the bank of that number

Dear Sir / Madam,

Please reconfirm cheque detail (Name of the Bank, Cheque Date, Cheque Amout, Payee) from the notice received, and if endorsed on the reverse by the payee, confirm whether cheque has been presented for encashment within the prescribed time limit of three months for encashment and reply to notice accordingly.
