Legal Question in Family Law in India

I have filed 498A and DV cases against my husband and other relatives (i.e All are absconders)and residing abroad and now we agreed to settle the above cases with mutual consent now What should be important things to keep in mind to settle the above cases? We have also agreed with permanent alimony ? Can you guide me right procedure to settle the same? On preliminary talks they are forcing us to withdraw all cases ( paying 1/5 amount)and then after going for divorce decree(paying 4/5 amount) so is it right procedure to settle the cases? Thanks in advance
