Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

I was married in March 2013 in Haryana. However, my wife never wanted to marry me, which I came to know after Marriage. She was under family pressure and she is in love with someone else and wants to stay with him only. She is asking for a divorce or if possible, wants to declare the marriage void. I do not want to be in her way. She is asking me to be separate from her quietly, without involving her family. She is adult and her age is 30 years. She is saying that she did tell her family about the person she wanted to marry, but they never agreed to the same, instead they blackmailed her and asked her to get married forcefully.

Is there any way, we can get separate legally, without involving our families. Neither hers nor mine, as we both are adults and mature. I am 31 years old and she is 30. If there is any way then I am ready to take the next step as soon as possible.

I just don't wanna disclose my identity before I know that there is a legitimate way for my issue as I have a life threat from the girl's family.

I am in a weird situation, where I cannot stay with the girl, cuz she loves someone else, and she is ready to be separate without involving her parents as she is still scared of them. on the other hand her family is threating me to falsely file dowry cases and domestic violence cases, and also to put my family in danger, if I try to file a divorce case. If I talk about the daughter, she will not agree to this in front of her parents, cuz she says she cannot face her parents. Her plan is to give me divorce quietly or legally get separate from me and simply go with the person she loves to some far place, where her parents wont be able to find her.

Please help me. I am in deep trouble.

Regards,

BoyInTrouble

Dear Sir,

You can take Divorce by Mutual consent and you have to just inform the court that both of you were staying separately for the past one year and did not have any physical contact since then. Thereafter, both of you have to again go to court after six months to get the second motion of Divorce by Mutual Consent and to get the Decree of Divorce. For further assistance please contact 08750228171.
