Legal Question in Family Law in Zimbabwe

Two months ago i was ordered to pay $100 as maintenance for the upkeep of my 9 year old son who is staying with my ex wife. i have not defaulted by i have been making staggered payments over the months because my salary is not consistent, now the ex wife is applying for a garnishee order to have the money deducted from my salary direct from work. can she be granted this provided i have never defaulted.

Yes she can.the law allows here to do that.i suggest that you visit your lawyer for them to help you varry the award downwads or viit the cleck of court's office they will help in that regard.you will be required to proove why it should be reduced.has your income reduced.what has changed in your circumstances.
