Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Alabama

Surgery Mishap

My wife had surgery last week. Somehow, after the doctor left the room, the anesthisiologist knocked out one of her front teeth and loosened another. Her front four teeth cost us about $3,000 worth of dental work (they are crowns) and when I say knocked out I don't mean they knocked off the crown, they leterally broke the tooth below the gumline and loosened the other front tooth. We found out yesterday that the damage they did is going to rewuire oral surgery to repair the damage they did. She is very upset at the mere fact that this happened and because of the additional surgery it is bringing and the time involved. Is this a case sufficient for legal action and would a lawyer take a case like this pro bono?
