Drivers liscence

I am 79 yrs old, got a driverws liscence 2 yrs ago, will i have to pass a test when it comes up for renewal? I live in Az..

I do not think that you must take a driving test or written test so long as you renew before the license expires. You will have to take an eye test.

Given your age, you should be certain to make a durable Health Care Power of Attorney and also a Financial power of attorney. These are the most important documents and action that you can take to protect yourself during your lifetime. When I was taking care of my Mom, then in her 80s, she found that it was much cheaper to hire a college student to drive her around to do errands, rather than pay the cost of gas, maintenance and insurance of her car, plus she had good company as she was doing her daily activities.
