The answer to your question depends on whether you are a non-exempt or exempt employee. If you are exempt from overtime payments based upon your classification under Arizona law, your employer can schedule your work beyond a 40 your week and more than 8 hours a day without compensating you. In order to determine whether you are exempt or non exempt, we would need additional information. If you would like to contact Stephanie Coulter of this office at 602 462 1004 we can arrange a time when we can obtain more information to assist you in determining whether you are entitled to over time compensation.
