serious car accident
If I loan my car to someone for a
month and that person is in a car
accident with my car, maims somone
for life, can I be sued? Can I lose my
house, car, money in the bank, etc?

Probably not. Insurance follows the car, liability follows the driver, in general. The exception is for negligent entrustment of a vehicle, say to an unlicensed driver, a drunk, etc. However, there are exceptions to laws, and you do not state who the person is you are lending to. If a family member, then you may be subject to liability for a "family purpose" use, which can be about anything. Can't say without all the facts. Ask your own attorney or car insurance agent.

Depends,Does the person have permission to drive the car? Does that person have insurance? Do you have insurance on the vehicle? How bad are the injuries?
