Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Daycare injury

My baby fell at daycare and cut his bottom lip open. Spent hours in ER and was sedated for surgery by plastic surgeon. He will likely have a scar on his face under his mouth. Can i sue the daycare and what amount?

Re: Daycare injury

Whether you can win a case will depend upon the facts of the case. How did he fall? Was it through the negligence of the daycare operators or employees that he fell? Or did he just fall himself? Damages are determined by a number of factors, including medical bills, pain and suffering, future medical bills, possible disfigurement, and other matters. It is difficult to say immediately now what scar will remain, he is so young. You do not state his age in your question.

Yes you can sue. The amount depends on the damage and medical billing. You need not hurry the settlement. I can explain that later. The last case like this happend on a swing that cut the babies upper lip. Luckily the day care had plenty of insurance.
