Fire alarm could not be heard in hotel suite

Friday night a fire alarm sounded on our floor, in an Arizona hotel. family were asleep at that time,air-conditioning on, music around the swimming pool playing. Due to air-con & music , we were unable to hear the fire alarm - not our fault.heard a voice shout 'Get out room'. we were distraught as we had two kids. Only when out of room could we were hear the alarm.other guests said alarm been sounding for over 10 minutes! was a false alarm ,but now realise that we spent five nights in a potentially lethal situation .My husband & I can't sleep due to stress of what may have happened.

This is basically a case where because you have no direct injury, you have no damages. In order to prove emotional distress, whether, it be negligent or intentional, you need damages. If it is negligent, you need have some kind of proof of a physical ailment. If you wish further explanation please feel free call me at anytime (480) 219-9584. Thank you,

John
