Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

HOA fees

I owe about $3,000 in HOA fees on a home I once owned. The home was sold at auction via foreclosure, but i still get the occasional bill in the mail for the $3,000 debt. shouldn't that debt been satisfied when the home was sold at auction? what happens if I decide not to pay it?

Re: HOA fees

You need to determine if you are personally liable for the HOA fees, look at the CCRs for that information. If the HOA had recorded a lien against your property, it would have been wiped out as part of the foreclosure sale. Many associations fail to do that and without personal liability, they have no claim against you.
